In 2006, the Fin family opened Soda Steve’s®, a casual, relaxed eatery with an extraordinary one-of-a-kind menu. It’s been so popular with visitors that it outgrew its humble home in the former Verandah dining room. This year, Soda Steve’s opens in a brand new, much larger restaurant that will accommodate its rapidly growing following.
Soda Steve’s is the creation of our executive chef, Steve Pool, a self-described “culinary tourist” whose travels have taken him anywhere and everywhere good food can be found. You see, for years Soda Steve has planned his vacations and other travels centered around food. Armed with a full bottle of antacid, an extra pair of stretchy pants and his favorite yellow shirt, he’s made the rounds — from greasy spoon diners and “hole in the wall” barbecue joints to five-star restaurants and ethnic eateries of all tastes and styles.
Suffice it to say, he will try anything once. But the food he really likes — no, the food he loves — is what he’s chosen to share with Fin customers at Soda Steve’s. The result is a dining experience unlike any other.
It goes without saying that much of what Steve loves are long-time Fin customer favorites. That’s why you’ll still find the Verandah’s awesome burgers, Texas toothpicks, ice cream and shakes, famous cheese fries, and homemade root beer and floats on Soda Steve’s menu. But look a little closer and you’ll find a tantalizing array of appetizers, entrees and dessert items that will appeal to your more adventurous side.

Something's brewing in Soda Steve's
Within its new, much larger home, Soda Steve’s has a new addition, the Mantina Coffee Cantina Espresso & Smoothy Bar, where you can enjoy your favorite morning beverage, whether it’s Soda Steve’s freshly brewed special coffee blends or our popular Starbucks® classic espressos or a flavorful, fruity smoothy — a favorite for patrons of all ages.
 
Enjoy Soda Steve's more than ever before
For the first time ever, and by popular demand, Soda Steve’s is staying open beyond the summer season. You come back and enjoy more "adventures in good eats" this fall, all the way through Thanksgiving. Starting in October, we'll be serving 3 meals each and every day, 7 days a week.
